Open to college students and motivated high schoolers, this internship will immerse you in a variety of activities that teach and inspire young learners while providing valuable career experience.
What You'll Do:
Engage with Kids: Teach children about ocean animals through fun, hands-on lessons, crafts, and beach games.
Explore the Outdoors: Participate in daily adventures like seining, marsh walks, tide pooling, and creature-catching (and releasing!).
Be a Role Model: Lead by example—stay positive, curious, and enthusiastic about learning and the environment.
Ensure Safety: Help keep kids safe near the water and follow all field safety rules.
Complete a Project: Contribute a hands-on project that directly supports our marine education program.
Who We’re Looking For:
High school students (junior internships) or college students interested in marine science, environmental education, or conservation.
Enthusiastic, responsible, and comfortable working outdoors.
Eager to learn, lead activities, and inspire children.
Able to follow safety guidelines and work collaboratively with our team.
