Mr. Taylor + Mrs. Amber!

It all started when…

Two people fell in love… with the ocean.

Ecological Marine Adventures was born a passion project and has continued to be a passion project! We are a small marine science center with a pure and simple mission: conservation education.

Did you know that if all of the trees on planet Earth were cut down today, the ocean would generate enough oxygen for us? It is estimated that up to 85% of the oxygen on Earth is generated by phytoplankton from Mother Ocean. Incredible, right?

So, we love the ocean. We want to protect it, we want to enjoy it for generations to come, but here is the tricky part: we cannot do this alone.

We know that real care, real protection, real conservation begins with some passion and a whole lotta love. Now ask us, again, what EMA does.

EMA teaches kids (of all ages, even those crazy adults!) about the ocean. We do this through hands-on experiences, like field exploration, experiments, data collection, touch tanks, aquarium work, logbooks and more. We know that as they dive into learning, through fun, they will grow to really love the ocean that is providing us with so much more than just summer adventure. As with all things that are loved, they are cared for, protected, even.

So, EMA can be described in three simple words:

LEARN. LOVE. PROTECT.
